Welcome/Willkommen!
As part of my postgraduate programme at University College Cork, I am attending a seminar focusing on introducing and developing contemporary research and networking skills and strategies in an ever-changing and increasingly digitalised academic and research-oriented setting. One of the components of this course is starting and curating an academic journal blog, which is what you are looking at right now (voluntarily or by sheer coincidence). This is my first post, just to get a feel for the task at hand and the tools I will be using to document and share my development and academic journey from fresher’s week to graduation and, hopefully, beyond. This blog will most likely contain shorter and (slightly) longer pieces of writing, some interactive elements, images and other media and content inspired and informed by seminary, conferences, talks and my own readings.
